From the Directress' Desk
Blooming Daffodils - The Montessori House was my dream which turned into reality on 6th January '1998. Along with this dream I had a spark of introducing TTC which gave my institution a brightness to glow more.
Being a teacher I always believed that children should peep into the fascinating world of books in a simple and joyous way of learning. Unfortunately whenever we talk of children's education we refer to the process of bringing good marks rather than their "Al|-round Development". So I thought of having a school that not only enriches the knowledge of children but also helps a child to build up his/her own character independently.
Apart from the Montessori garden Of Blooming Daffodils we also have our Teachers' Training Centre where we train our TTC students to grow into fruitful trees and spread their branches with knowledge and education. We have been training such students since years and we are proud to see our teachers working in the top schools of our city as well as overseas.
As the years have passed, we gradually improvised our class arrangements with the latest modern apparatus and digital learning. I am really proud that all these years' hard work, love and dedication towards the children have made our school the best. My school has been my life and I forsee a great future for it in the coming years.

Blooming Daffodils first blossomed on January 6th, 1998, at 12, Rammohan Dutta Road, Kolkata. Founded by the visionary Mrs. Manikuntala Basu, the institute was established with a heartfelt mission: to cultivate each child’s potential with gentle care, fostering an environment where young minds can thrive and flourish like vibrant daffodils. With a dedication to nurturing individuality and inspiring growth, Blooming Daffodils has continued to be a place where children blossom into confident, compassionate, and curious learners.
The settling of a comprehensive curriculum is a very important aspect of any school, more so for any Montessori or Pre-primary school as they have to take into account the various curriculum followed by all the other schools. The pressure mounts on the Montessori Schools as they have to fulfill the natural ambition of the parents of seeing their children in the best of the schools.
